Trial Sites

A Measured Problem, Not An Interest In The Product.

We are looking for a small number of UK sites where the signal problem was measured before we arrived, so that the first published result is somebody's real site rather than a brochure.

What We Measure
SignalServing cell, band, RSRP, RSRQ and SINR
ThroughputDownload and upload at fixed times of day, against the same test server
PeriodSeven days before and seven days after, on one method
VisitsRe-alignment visits, counted before and during
What A Trial Site Gets
  • A Unit For The Trial
Allocated to the site, on terms agreed in writing before anything ships.
  • Install Support
From the engineer, by email, through the first alignment.
  • A Measurement Method
The same method before and after, so that the comparison means something.
  • A Written Result
Including the trials where nothing improves. Those are the ones worth reading.
What We Ask
  • A real site with a directional antenna and a problem you can put a number on.
  • The same measurements before and after, at the same times of day.
  • Access to the alignment logs.
  • A decision on whether the result may be published, which is allowed to be no.
How We Choose
  • Construction, rural fixed wireless, telemetry or CCTV. Events once one of the others has a result.
  • A problem that was measured before we arrived, not one discovered during the trial.
  • A mast and an access route that are safe to work on.
  • A reseller who will install it and stand behind it afterwards.
Terms

How long the unit stays, what it costs if anything, and what happens to it at the end are agreed in writing before it ships. We say no more often than yes, and you get an answer either way.

Apply For A Trial Site

Trial units are limited and we say no more often than yes. The applications that succeed describe a measured problem at a real site, not an interest in the product. You get an answer either way.

Carrier, measured signal if you have it, distance to the nearest mast, and what fails today.

We use these details to assess the trial site and for nothing else. The record keeps the page you came from, the time, and a one way hash of your network address rather than the address itself. No cookie is set by this form.

Not Sure It Qualifies.

Send the numbers you already have and we will tell you whether the site is worth a trial. A no costs you one email.
