Privacy Notice.
This notice covers what this website and its forms collect, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Boothroyd Group Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17430866, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to hello@boothroydgroup.com about anything in this notice.
Only what you type into a form: for a trade account, the business's name, numbers and addresses and the names and email addresses of its contacts; for a trial site, your name, email address and a description of the site; for an enquiry, your name, email address, organisation and message; for the bulletin, your name, email address and organisation, and the consent you gave.
With each submission we keep the page it came from and a one-way, salted hash of your network address, used only to stop automated and repeated submissions. We do not keep the address itself.
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our web server records each request, including the network address it came from, for security and fault-finding, and those records are overwritten as the log rotates.
We use a trade application to decide whether to open an account and, if we do, to run it: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the contract itself. We use an enquiry or a trial-site application to answer it: our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us. We send the bulletin only to people who asked for it, on their consent, which can be withdrawn at any time by replying to any issue or writing to hello@boothroydgroup.com.
OVHcloud hosts the server in the United Kingdom. Microsoft hosts our email. Resend sends the acknowledgement you receive after submitting a form, and processes the message in the United States under its data processing terms. Each acts on our instructions only. We do not sell or share personal data for anybody else's marketing. Where a trade application names Cellular Path's products, we do not pass your details to Cellular Path; our monthly sales reports to them identify resellers by category only.
A trade application that becomes an account: for as long as the account is open and six years after it closes, the period company and tax records are kept. An application we do not take forward: twelve months. An enquiry or a trial-site application: twenty-four months from the last exchange. A bulletin subscription: until you unsubscribe.
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or give it to you in a portable form. Write to hello@boothroydgroup.com. We answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first.
