I spent fifteen years designing and running connectivity for operations that could not afford to stop, and I kept being called in after the decision had already been made. Usually the equipment was fine. The thinking around it was not.
Boothroyd exists to be involved earlier than that. The work is specification before it is installation: reading what somebody has proposed, understanding what the operation actually needs, and being willing to say the two do not match.
That is a deliberate limit on how fast the practice can grow, and a deliberate guarantee about what you are buying. The practice grows by adding senior advisors and partners, named to the client who is getting them. Nobody is hired to be billed at a margin.
